Founded in 1997, Hillsdale Music Department Parent Association (HMDPA) supports the music education of 400+ Hillsdale Middle School and Cajon Valley Union School District (CVUSD) elementary school students through financial contributions, fundraising, and volunteer service.

HMDPA currently provides substantial financial support for students participating in instrumental and choral music in performance ensembles under the direction of Spencer Caldwell.  In partnership the CVUSD, HMDPA makes it possible for Hillsdale students to have music education and performance experiences that extend beyond the basic classroom curriculum.

Our primary source of our funding comes from the donations from the parents, grandparents, family and friends of  Hillsdale students in addition to some key community partners.  Your generosity and love make it all possible!

Who is HMDPA?  We are the parents, grandparents, family and friends of Hillsdale Middle School Instrumental and Choral Music Students. We are committed to providing a high quality music program in Rancho San Diego’s public schools.

The HMDPA Board of Directors includes nine elected officers and the Music Director. Additional support is provided by volunteers who serve as committee chairpersons or appointed officers.

HMDPA is a qualified 501c3 educational foundation (Tax ID# 86-1169465)
